I finished making my costume for the medieval costume class in my horse show this weekend. Now I just have to make Jay's bits to go with it. It's so fun!

Well, I got to leave orchestra rehearsal early tonight. My stool finally broke after 12 years of having me sit on it at an odd angle in order to play double bass. So, it's over now. I had a great deal of fun. It was very different from Continuum 3 as the presence of Neil Gaiman last year almost tripled the usual attendance. This year was a great deal more intimate with only about 250-300 people attending, which is more the normal number, according to regulars. I just got back from my karate grading. I am dead tired, but I think I got my green belt and black gi. I was so exhausted and so low on blood sugar that I nearly passed out at the end. I was weaving to the bathroom to get changed out of my gi. I was not only covered in, but dripping with sweat IN THE MIDDLE OF FREAKING WINTER!!!!!!!!! I'm glad ( Read more... )

Well, my horse show (funkhana) has been postponed once more. I wrangled a float and truck and took Jay out to my riding lesson yesterday.
