Claiiiiirrrrre!!! She is teaching here! At the music conservatory! And also pursuing her carrere etc. Ahhhhhh, I am so crazy excited. And a very, very lucky little beotch. My friend was like, 'oooh, write me an article for the observer, hmmm, you're interested in singing... there's some soprano who's teaching here now, her name is.... hmmmm, let me figure it out- 'Dawn Upshaw?'

And I'm like 'Oh my GOD'.

Literally, I almost cried.

But prolly you will meet her if she sticks around for long enough, so it's allll good.

You know what's weird? My friend was really into her, but then he and some other people went to see her in concert and walked out cause it was so bad. Maybe she was just having an off night.

And I hope that life is treating you BETTER than well and that I'll get to see you when I'm back in town this December and Janruary... we should SO catch up for real.
