We have closet rods! I went to buy them yesterday and when I got home, they did not fit. I thought I was a retard, but upon further investigation I realized that they guy cut the wood to five feet instead of five feet and a half of an inch, as I'd requested. A quick one before work...
I'm here. I'm in Tulsa. It's fine...life is okay. Work is growing on me, though I still find this store to be horribly organized and poorly deployed, but I find that all of Tulsa lacks a certain sense of urgency and I will eventually get used to it. Well, that's interesting.
I just got a call from my new Starbucks and I apparently am supposed to be at work right now. I wasn't on the actual schedule, but was on the DCR, I guess, so nobody caught it. This cold is kicking my ass. I keep napping. I don't like it. I hope that after sleeping at least seven hours tonight, it goes the fuck away. I can't drive to Oklahoma feeling like this! I will die! *cries* -
This is my life
I'm really trying to go back to updating this on a regular basis. With everyone using twitter so much, I feel like LiveJournal is so dead and it makes me sad. I'm part of that, obviously, since I barely update anymore...and twitter is fun, but so much less satisfying. An update, although it seems quite apparent that nobody reads these anymore.
We moved down on Wednesday to our new duplex in Tulsa. It's a hot mess. One of the windows is broken, the fence has a missing post, our sink and dish machine leak, we have no way to put a lightbulb into the porch light, our garage door doesn't lock right, we have no poles in our closets, Angela's toilet wobbles and now her mirror is broken, my ( Read more... )
