day five, your definition of love, in great detail
i talk to
ironside about mushy stuff like this on a fairly regular basis. we've come to one basic conclusion several times:
you'll know it when you have it. love is beyond the box that people shove it into. words like 'platonic' shouldn't exist. love does not need anything preceding it, unless that word is "not" or "true."
i believe in soulmates--people that my existence is enfeebled without. i don't, however, think my soulmates have to be my true love.
love is a lot like a winding path. the view is very scenic. you're loving every moment of it, but you don't quite realize how far you're going until you're completely head over heels. that's when you know it's real. from there, it's a lot of courage and comfort within yourself to have that tiny seed of feeling blossom in a positive way. sometimes it needs to be nipped in the bud. sometimes, you should see where it takes you.
love is really tricky, and i think cases where people get it right the first time are very rare. a true love is someone who feels just as fulfilled by me as i feel by them. like a best best friend with kissing and cuddling benefits. i haven't found this person, but i do believe that there is only one person for me.
