After having my first bag of popcorn in a few months [hurray, a microwave that doesn't hate me!! :D] I sat down to finish watching the 13-episode anime Shadow Star Narutaru.

That sounds like a really hardcore version of Alien 9.... heh, my friend loves Digimon and Pokemon so she bought it because of the cutesy animation. Watching it, she was horrified XD; I thought it was pretty cool though.

I just finished watching Rah Xephon which was <333 Been watching bits and pieces of Gurren Laagan too. ALSO LEARNING JAPANESE IN THE CAR YAY TRAFFIC NOW SERVES A PURPOSE!

It starts out all innocent too... the kids are voting other kids to be like president of the class. Except. It's the alien fighting club. And they get symbiotic aliens to attach to their heads...and rollerblade around the school. Since they are kids, they get freaked out when they see the bad aliens.... and then their sybiotes spaz out and kill everything... thoroughly traumatizing the kids :D :D :D
