Future
I dreamt some of the craziest imagery I can remember. In a frenzy tried to pin down the general impressions and key points. Tron and pixels.
It was some strange electronic wave-form imaginary (like square root of 1) world. People lived in houses like middle america, but we were also existing in a far-flung future of the real timeline that had yet to be effected by events in the past to force us to be real. Possibly we were the mirror of an actual neighborhood and actual people waiting in a probablistic world of math, but we were still sentient and living.
There was some kind of war going on. Lazers and polygons. Things were blowing up
There was a giant bomb that exploded far away in a series of colored polygons.
The violence caused people and animals to fall to pieces. I had to gather up all the flat, faded pixels that they were made of to put them back together. I was really worried because if I couldn't find all of them the person wouldn't resurrect. I was anxious to find all of Chris's pieces.
If not enough pieces were gathered, the person existed but their minds were not whole and subsequently had mental retardation.
This is what it looked like, pushing the pieces back in to people.
There was a small schizophrenic toddler girl who had control of a giant screaming monster.
Something like this was explained.
The catastrophe that eventually destroyed (converted) the world was the invasion of a black orb probe from the past. Because it existed concretely from a coherent timeline, anything it touched would be changed in to a concrete existence as well, in the version of big pixelated blocks.
