Zoo May 2011

Went to the zoo today. Was cool but the holiday weekend made it swarmed with families.

Giraffes, hyenas, cranes, ducks, cockatiels, etc.


Asian pheasant! They have a cool new group of Asian pheasants and magpies that I couldn't get good pictures of. So great!

Giraffes. The male is the dark one. He was totally macking on his lady and we totally thought they were gonna mate but nope.

Saw the hornbills getting fed omg I love them om nom nom.



Was surprised to see a blue heron so close to the crowds of people. I love blue herons.
