I too thought she did a good job on the article, though I never said I was only giving literary gifts at holiday time. I quite literally have another idea brewing. Let's just say that it required a month's time, this old pickle-making-bucket-thing that I bought at an auction years ago, and that I build a cranberry bog in my kitchen.

I bought Donovan's Beat Cafe at Newtown Book and Record on Friday. WHOOPSIES!

Although I think buying an album dedicated to beatnik poetry and the question-everything spirit of 1950's cafe culture at a non-chain used book and record store isn't really buying into mass consumerism and allowing marketing to control your life. If it is, then hang me.

I also went with some people who bought a ton of shit from Starbucks. But I hate those people, because they're Republicans and they reuined my family vacation. They happen to be my second cousins, too.
