i like the article. it's very nice. i hope you feel better from this funk you've been in lately. find some friends. some new ones, or rediscover old ones. you have to do something because if there's one thing i learned it's that you can't expect anyone else but yourself to take the initiative. only you can change your life. when my relationship ended, it wasn't until i let it go that it ended in my mind and freed me from the need to get back together. even if external events change your life, you have to embrace the change in orfer to move on and change for the better.

I totally don't believe that soulmate shootenany. I think what La was describing is the "Platonic relationship." One archetypal women character La, and maybe even Jung, glazed over was THE LOVER! I don't think Daisy was Gatsby's soulmate. She was his lover. She fit the medieval archetype of the princess of a pedestal, the glorious prize at the end of the journey.

I think the best kind of lover should have the qualities of a soulmate.
