One thing about chronic pain is that it’s hard to see. Many times, people don’t exhibit it on the outside. If you look close enough, you may see it etched in the lines of their face, or see it in the way they walk, hold themselves, move around. It’s there but it’s not something that shows a physical scar.

Ugh... people suck sometimes. *hugs*

Have you tried explaining it using the spoon theory? It helped me a lot. For some reason, people can comprehend it better than any other way I've tried to explain chronic pain. If you've never read it, it's here.

I love the spoon theory. Thank you for sharing that because it's helped so much. My parents use it now. It's such a cool way to explain it, in a way that people actually understand.
