" hrm. say in another 1 month or so, i would officially break off from singapore's education system.

come to think of it, was it a descision made correctly to have entered jc?

i could have flown to australia for a foundation course. gone to lasalle to do something arty farty. or chose to do mass comm in poly.

i didn't.

jc life is lidat, a rat race, but since u have chosen this route, you would have to carry on no matter what. it's not the education system that makes people a loner, or a nobody, it's that as we grow older, we are too busy to maintain the ties that have once bonded us to others

just like me, i used to be involved in every single council project in secondary school, from teachers' day to speech day, then orientation, just to name some major events.

in college, i thought of running for it as well. in fact, i was in council for a weekend. but was too tired to start the whole cycle once again. i dropped out.

here i am now, vice-president of english society. definitely not as busy as a councillor, but still have a number of school events that we as CCA leadersa have to be involved in. come next year, after my orientation as OGL, i will be stopping all involvement in school events. looking forward for my SYF and a levels. =)
