Well, where to I start? I've been working on building the studio. We've been soundproofing the walls with a compressed rubber material that's mainly used to line the walls inside an engine room on a boat. The stuff is really heavy, it comes in rolls that weigh about 300 pounds. We struggled all day Sunday getting that shit up on the walls. We're

Why would someone cover a beautiful hardwood floor with white linoleum? stupid fucks.-

I've seen too many apts. in NYC where they just can't stop painting the walls and they keep going! paint the floors, the windows and cabinets shut...i suppose they snorted the fumes too long...

I'll like junky recording equipment, instead of using the same equipment that everyone uses, if you use some of this odd ball stuff you can add a little different flavor to your recordings.
I love Office Space, a lot of it rings true for me.
People have no taste, I can't believe they went over this floor. It's really nice, nice grain and detail, I can't wait to clean it up.

He bought the dvd even though I have the video...I think I better go check if there are any special features or commentary on the dvd.
It will be exciting (well..I seem to get excited over interior design) when you can finally look at the room w/ the original flooring.
Are you and Cookie ( I just get a kick out of that nickname) going to be redecorating and renovation the whole house?

It sounds like everything is cooking for you in the studio and at home, and the good news about having that wood floor covered up is that it was protected all of those years. I bet it will be beautiful once you clean it up. That sucks about work. Just think, things will get better once Dania is in charge.

The little bit of the floor I managed to look at looks pretty good, you're right it was protected.
