Bike Race

So yesterday, I participated in my first ever bicycle race. And I placed 3rd. The course was about 20 miles across Casper Mountain, a mixture of single track, double track & gravel roads, half uphill and half downhill. My time was about 3 hrs 20 minutes. I was talked into this by a teacher/poet/friend.

Still, 20 miles? That's an achievement just for hanging in there for the entire race. I've never done anything close to that. The longest on-foot race I've ever taken part in was less than 10 miles. Good for you, Doug.
