I LOVE GROWN-UP CHRISTMAS because Mom just asks, "Make me a list of those knitting books you want," and I say, "Okay!", and I know I'm going to get one of four AWESOME AND EXCITING AND SUPER-SWEET BOOKS for Christmas. I think four. I might have put five on there. So I could get two of them, because two were Stitchionary, and it would be just ( Read more... )

Hey, I like that baby cape. I'll take a monk's robe and cowl, extra large, grey with white lining; and please don't forget to put in a secret inside pocket to sheathe a stiletto.

Unfortunately, the shop is all out of Franciscan grey. We do have a small stock of Cistercian white, and plenty of Benedictine black and even some Sylvestrine blue. Might I recommend the Benedictines? They were awfully good at taking up arms for the Crusades, so might know where to sheathe a stiletto properly.

I'm pregnant! And my baby wants that cape. In that color. It's awesome!

Does Irena really want a baby cape?? Because I would be honored to make her one, especially in this color!

Oh wow! We'd be honored . . .

I do love that color, but I think a "truer" green or red would also be beautiful. I'll leave it up to you. :)

Can I send you my address by email? Thank you so much; I'm thrilled!

Yay! Turabiannights@gmail.com! I'll have a look at the colors tomorrow. I think we've actually got a very beautiful red in stock that could do quite nicely... but the green is so nice too... I'll just have to see tomorrow!

It is a one-size-fits-all kind of deal, so it should theoretically fit for awhile, too!

I AM SO EXCITED!

My grandma was all, "What do you want for Christmas, favored grandson?" and I was all, "Umm, Spanish books and tropical stuff...too finals'd out to think more specifically..." and she was all, "Well what about Christopher?" and I was all, "No idea" and she was all, "Ok, well, you think about that, then" and I was all, "Hell nah, lets go shopping when I get to Florida" and she was all, "Shit yeah bitches! We's gone shop that shit UP!" and I was all, "Yeah."

I really like the family and cooking aspects of christmas more than the loots. On the other, more hypocritical hand, what book should I get in Spanish that I may learn it more easily? NOTE: It has to be one I've read already. No wacky late-nineteenth-century Ennglish novelists, por favor.

PS- I accidentally deleted your phone number. I need it back. Pleeeeease?
