I am tired and cold and just want my walk-through to be OVER WITH. Thanks to two wonderful co-workers and The Markness, I was able to get all my stuff out of the apartment last night, followed by a serious cleaning session that involved too much Lysol. Maddie is doing better. Her temp was up this morning to 107, but it was down to 102.7 when I called the vet a few hours ago. They like to see it drop below 103 before releasing the cats; their avg temps should be about 101 ( Read more... ) -

Madeleine had surgery today. The vet found 1.5 inches of plastic in her stomach, probably from my hospital bracelet. It was nearly blocking her intestines, and she said that if we had waited another week, it would have broken through her intestinal wall ( Read more... ) -
