I'm not sure I got the randomize option right. Does it mean you'll do the matching between colors and themes in my place? Like:
Red: split
Orange: border
Yellow: conflict
...

Or something else?

Yep, that's exactly how we do it. We attach all the themes to colours or b&w and then you can decide if you want to run with it or not!

Yes, we do use the URL provided by the entrant. We have always done so; that is why it is required in the submission form. The majority of entrants use Imgur as an image uploader which automatically makes you anonymous, however. If you have any worries about being recognized, the mods advocate using Imgur instead of your personal LJ or Photobucket accounts. To directly answer your question, yes we will be using whatever URL you, as the entrant, provide us with in the voting for this challenge. It is up to you to decide where you will host your images.

Please also keep in mind that we have a designated Questions thread above where you can ask questions to ensure that a moderator sees your question and can respond in a timely manner. We also have a General Suggestions thread where you can address issues like this in the future. If you have any more concerns or questions, let us know. :)

Each icontest is different. Ours requires, usually, a good deal of coding and time for voting and results posts (as you can see from our previous rounds) and, as such, we don't really have the time to re-upload each and every person's individual icons on the off chance that someone will right click. The way we do it ensures that we get voting posts and results posts to our participants in an orderly and timely manner.

I'm sorry if this creates an inconvenience for you. If you are really and truly worried someone will right click, Imgur doesn't require that you create an account, and it is very quick and easy to use. You wouldn't have to switch your hosting site altogether at all. Image Shack is also a viable option as it removes any identifying features from the URL as well.

Again, we will use the URLs you provide for us. If you want to remain 100% anonymous then it is up to you to use an image hosting site that makes that possible. Thank you for expressing your concerns, and we look forward to seeing your entries!
