The spellings that begin with "Q" are evocative Quran.

Cora requires much less explanation as is it much more straightforward, but it is bland compared to the other choices.

Cora.

nobody in this god forsaken state is going to understand how to pronounce it otherwise.

the first looks better in text.. until i remember "quorn" brand meat substitute..

Quora does make me think of the question and answer site, but it also makes me think of Quorra from Tron Legacy. In the end, that wins out for me, more so than annoyances of mispronunciation/misspelling.

Quorra was the original spelling. I remembered the name from Tron, so I looked it up. First, Brandy didn't like the double r, so I compromised on that. Then, she didn't like the u. I said, You have to have the u if you have the q. Thus, we dropped it for awhile. Unfortunately, it kinda got in our heads after that and came back on the table. That's when I said, if you want to get rid of the u, I'll counter with Cora, but a Q without a u is not allowed. Then the vote idea came up.

So, yeah, Quorra kinda was the original source.

And, half the point of this is that we didn't want people to directly know where the ideas came from, so I'm going to screen this for the time being...

I have to say Cora. Anything else, while cute, is just going to cause her a huge hassle.
