I guess I should mention this, since a few people in the last week seem upset I hadn't mentioned it until just then. There's a fair to good chance I'm moving to NYC within the next 2 or 3 months.

It was a toss-up for a little while. I ultimately decided that I need a change of scenery, plus I have guaranteed roommates I get along with in NY.

I have absolutely nothing in the way of detail. Not a thing. It's not even definite...

Woah! That one came flying out of left field. What's going on?

It's been an option that's been open to me for a little while. My friends in the city called me this weekend looking for a commitment, as they're looking to break their current lease soon. So, I have to consider it seriously now, and figured mentioning the possibility to be preferable to announcing it definitely a month or less before I go.

Yay! That would give me two awesome people to stay with in NYC. Now I get to chose between a guy who has no interest in me because I'm not Jewish and a guy who has no interest in me because I'm not a man. Woot!

Good roommates are the most important thing, as far as I'm concerned. Senior year I told my friend Brandi, "I can work no matter where we move; they've got animals everywhere. Pick a city and I'm coming with you. By god, I'm not facing the world alone." It's worked out pretty well, even though we'd never really lived together before. Good luck to ya, I hope everything goes well!
