About 2 weeks ago, a plane going from Rio De Janeiro to Paris disappeared over the Atlantic. It was in a storm at the time, so it is suspected that it got hit by lightning, and there are no survivors. Woah. That's actually crazy.

It's like that thing - not joke, but ..thing ...story? ... - where a man who's out at a market runs into Death, and both of them are surprised, but the man immediately runs away. He decides he can't stay at home that night, so he gets a horse and rides as far away as he can until he's exhausted, and then decides to crash for a night at a pub (I'm thinking Lord of the Rings style?) ...He goes and opens the door to his room, and Death is there sitting on the bed. The man jumps, and Death says, "I was surprised to see you this morning at the market, because I knew I'd be seeing you here tonight."

Or something.

Anyway, weird.

A friend's boyfriend went to a fortune teller like 10 years ago and she said that at 21 he'd die riding a motorcycle. When he was 21 he died from getting stabbed in the aorta in the woods somewhere on the Charlotte islands. Turns out there was a knife wound expert in a hospital nearby, and he was flown over there and lived with brain damage and had to relearn how to read, write, walk, etc. Now he's ok, but he's getting a motorcycle.

pretty much, he was "technically" dead, but the knife wound specialist was so pro that he resuscitated him and saved his life. That's a handy skill to have
