.22 caliber Whitney Wolverine. An aluminum framed piece from the late 50's, early 60's. The "ZEBRA" toy gun was based on it, the one that shoots the yellow plastic BB's?. I always thought the Wolverine was one of the most attractive firearms ever designed....
I just don't like it. Something about it is....off. I'd like one of the originals. You see them at gun shows for around $400. The down side is that the gun had a notoriously fragile extracter, and the part is nearly impossible to replace....(siiiigh)
