This... wow. I can't even... I'll have to reread it for it all to sink in but wow. Beautiful, beautiful use of the day/night metaphor. There's jus so much to this story, so many layers, the characterization from the humor down to the sorrow, and you sum it up perfectly in Susan's voice, they really are two bodies, one soul.

I don't know how i missed this. but wow. just wow. oh, my two boys, you do them such justice. Edmund and Peter, they are here they come right of the page, they are just so wonderfully real; it makes my heart ache. They words you use, the way you constructed the sentences and paragraphs, they all give way to such a wonderful fluid flow that really lends itself to a complete submerge in this coordinated tale of compare and contrast.

I love the contrast that you have, how on the surface they do seem so different, but then there are those moments when the do just seem to be one, i.e. Peter fighting for Edmund, Edmund eating Peter's treats. I am always saddened by Susan, as you well know, but that line she whispers at the end it the epitome of what every writer needs to know about the brothers King. They may be different in body, one "light" and one "dark" but they are one soul, because they are Narnia. Before their sisters, before their subjects, those two are Narnia.
