Most "right wing" folks today are pro military. Yet they also seem to display this anti-statist notion that big government state empowerment is bad news bears. Last time I checked, the military is a branch of the state, the most violent and active branch, mind you. Improving the state's capability to destroy it's enemies does not sound like
