sooooo
basically i suck at updating this!!
germany is pretty sweet! we played some dodgeball at midnight one night versus some scary germans who were all athletic and kicked our asses. it was so unfair cuz we had 5 guys and they were all guys. it was insane. but soo fun. playing volleyball with germans is really fun too! i try to speak german to them now cuz i know a lot a lot more german. however, i think i do a bad job cuz they just stare at me and are like "you know...i DO speak english". we go out a lot which is always fun. the people here are still pretty awesome (meaning im not sick of them quite yet) so we have some good times. of course, im like mother goose as always and take on the responsibility of making sure everyone's there and everyone who is drunk or throwing up is ok. i can't help it! OMG we had beer olympics one night and wooow that was soooooo fun! we did survivor flip cup and volume chug and beer pong and quarters. i now know how to chug beer the right way! I was on team naked and we came in second. 4 girls beat the two best beer drinking guys in our group at survivor flip cup!!! it was AMAZING! hahah it was so fun. this weekend we're going to berlin for the weekend. i dont remember the last time i updated but in case i didnt mention it, we went to prague for a whole weekend a few weeks ago and that was REALLY fun. the first week of october i'm going to go to dublin for the weekend with erin, cait and one of our awesome RAs, and then brian's coming to visit and then we have a 10 day break during which i'm traveling through italy (venice, flourence, rome) with some of my favorites on this trip: steph, allie, marshall and maybe sid for some of the time!! i've been making some really solid friendships here. the people i hang out with most (besides erin) are def. sid then cait then allie then steph then kat and her gang then marshal and so on down the line. i love love love everyone! i think i've been getting closest to sid and cait though. like if i need to talk to someone i'd actually prolly go to sid but that's more cuz he's come to me with his problems a lot lately. he's having lots of fights with his girlfriend and i dunno i guess he comes to me to tell me about it. i dont mind, i think it's kind of cool to have someone who will confide in me kinda deal. i hang out with allie a lot too, she's a funny girl and very fun. nick's a pretty funny guy too haha he's always good for a story or interesting conversations. i like miguel too but im always so awkward around him. steph is fun for shopping and just hanging out in general. i usually have people over in my kitchen to eat dinner 3-4 times a week. that's usually me, er, sid, cait, steph, and allie. last night marshall and robbie came for dinner too. i found im actually a pretty good cook, just not such a good baker still haha. omg last weekend we went and saw a scottish "alternative" (but id say its more punk) band at a little tiny (smaller than the living room) club-like place. oh it was SO fun! me, kat, matt, and marshall danced at the end and it was so so so fun! the band spoke english and we met the basist before the show. he has to be the FUNNIEST guy i've ever met! the scottish accent just made it even better OMG. it was amazing! there's also american football at the american bar on sundays, however i didnt go last sunday cuz sid was really upset over a fight he had with his gf so i stayed back to keep him company. we went for a walk through the gardens. omg the gardens here are GORGEOUS!!! wowwsa i love them. also, shopping here is pretty sweet-tastic! they have this store called "pimpkie" and it is my new favorite store of all time. h&m and the new yorker are good stores too. they're everywhere! what else, what else? we have our first chem test next week and everyone's freaking out. i'm not too too worried cuz i feel pretty comfortable with nomenclature at the moment. i still have to study a little more though. bio hasn't started week but that starts....end of september sometime. we've been trying to plan trips as of late but it isn't really working too well cuz it's hard to get organized. i decided i really wanna go to spain at some point, def ireland (that trip in october is only gunna cost 100euro!!), switzerland, of course italy (my flight's already booked: 20euro there, 60 back!!!), france maybe, vienna maybe, london perhaps, maybe even warsaw in poland. OH but we have like 6 days between finals and when we have to come home and so a bunch of us are thinking about going to greece!!!! like the islands and such! im sooo excited for that one! can't wait can't wait. as awesome as things have been, ive been getting kinda homesick as of late. i miss all my friends and my brian and even my sister! its a wierd feeling, but i've been trying sooo hard to keep busy busy busy so i can't think of it (and so i can experience everything as much as possible and have fun). i can't think of much else exciting that's been happening lately, but i promise promise promise im gunna update more often...like at least once a week at least!!!
but yeah, i should go study chem now.
