Oahu and Meme
So yesterday, we basically just drove around. We first went to the Buddhist's temple, which was cool and really pretty. I got a necklace there with the charm/bead/thing at the end made of glass, some colored and some completely clear, so it looks different based on what it's put against. There was a really big, really loud gong. That was cool. We also fed the koi and made them swim back and forth to get the food, which was amusing.
We then went to the Polynesian Cultural Center, but it was too expensive so we just kept going. We had lunch at some restaurant at Turtle Bay [which didn't actually have any turtles. how disappointing.] and then drove for a long time. We stopped by a coconut stand and had coconut and bananas and decided not to go to the beach like originally planned because my brother decided he wouldn't boogie board because I didn't feel like it. Dad was too tired to do the maze at Dole and we drove right past that too. Besides, it was getting dark. Instead, we stopped by a shop and had shave ice with ice cream. Then we went home and had pizza.
Today we went on a hike up a waterfall where I took like half a million pictures. It was a really long way home. We got lost, had lunch in Chinatown, got lost again, and got home. Did homework, had dinner.
You know what sucks? Proboards isn't working today.
Meaning I can't RP or communicate with most of my NZ friends.
Which sucks because since I'm in Hawaii, I can talk with them for 2 hours longer than usual. :(
