Frustration
Every night I go to sleep,
but not before I break down and weep.
The shadow on my soul hangs low with misery,
So deep inside I cannot see.
Swimming in my tears of doubt,
the pounding in my head beats about.
Following the road of confusion,
to a dark place, deep in an illusion.
That's where you'll find me,
darker than the Black Sea, drowning in insanity.
All around me are balls and chains,
with every step the uncertainty gains.
Sooner or later I know I'll break through,
but for now I'm stuck with hoping to do.
Staring deeper in the dark,
my thoughts biting me like a shark.
