There's thunder clouds
Round the hometown bay
As I walk out in the rain
Through the sepia showers
And the photoflood days

I caught a fleeting glimpse of life
And though the water's
Black as night
The colours of [home]
Leave you young inside

There must be a place
Under the sun
Where hearts of olden glory
Grow young

There must be a place ( Read more... )

I stumbled across this journal randomly (Nifty feature we've got on LJ)and I do give you credit for having quite possibly the most unique journal I've read. I do give you kudos and I hope you do not mind my stopping in and reading once in a while.

Greetings,

I don't think we've met (although we might have during the summer of 2000 when I lived with callicrates in the bay area), but I was at UNC with callicrates and am currently at his house visiting. While we were talking this evening, he mentioned several things about you and as I result I decided to take a look at your journal. So, in case you're wondering who this stranger is who just "friended" you on LJ, that's who it is. :-)

Some other trivia... the machine where your web page is hosted, spundreams.net, resides in my office at my house in NC.

Question about your bio clubjuggler August 3 2004, 21:38:31 UTC
I know it's bad form to follow up your own post, but I just noticed something on your bio page I wanted to ask you about. You mention Tokyo Adventist (Hospital, I assume). That caught my eye because I am Seventh-day Adventist and I was just wondering if you were too. Thanks.

Welcome! Pleasure to "meet" you! Please give my best to callicrates and willowisp and the kitty. :-)

My church (Harvest Mission Community Church, Ann Arbor) isn't specifically affiliated with a particular Protestant denomination, although my prior churches have been linked to the Presbyterians. Or, in other words, no, I'm a practicing Protestant but not an Adventist, I'm afraid. :-)

By all means! Thank you for asking, but it's a free net. Feel free to do as you wish. :-)

(Actually, I ought to write that in the entry here, to save future folks like you the trouble of asking. :-) )

*Nods* I still wanted to ask, because I only think it's the polite thing to do.

Thank you!
