Is it pessimistic to prepare for bad things to happen? Is it naive to not prepare? or is it idealistic to not prepare for bad things? or is it just plain stupid not to prepare? I don't 'prepare' for bad things to happen...whatever a pessimist is, I don't think I am one. but am I an optimist? or naive? hmm

The doctor gave me a prescription for Lidocaine gargle. He said it would make my throat feel better. Well, hell...I can't even FEEL my mouth. It's this clear gel stuff, and I'm supposed to gargle one tablespoon for a minute, then swallow. I mean, I can feel it, but this is the weirdest sensation ever. It was a good weekend. The trip to Tallahassee was fun- very eventful. Our gas station experience was really bizarre. I guess I'm not as nice of a person as I thought I was.
