o5: Paranoia

Oh my God.

I'm telling you, it's gonna be hell slogging through all of this... complete and utter rubbish. Just to find out where it started. That's right, make my work difficult, why don't you! And yes, that's what I want to be knowing here. I am not getting caught up in all of this without knowing exactly what it is I'm supposed to be panicking ( Read more... )

Are you looking for the first claims of visions, or the point where the paranoia really seems to take off?

Well, a little of both, really... there ain't half a lot. Still, I think I'm doing a decent job wading through it all. You know, I bloody hate fortune tellers.

Just follow the bouncing ball.

Everything else seems to ripple out from those.

The genuine ones aren't all bad. Then again, they don't usually deal in vague sentiment without any useful details.

Wow, it really is dead vague, isn't it? I mean, don't get me wrong, 's good to be prepared and all, but for everything to spread out like that... honestly.

Still gonna weed through all this, see if I can't read into it a bit more. Sick of being the ignorant one, you know?

I'm looking to find out what all these premonition things are. 'cause from what I'm gathering here, it's all so vague everyone's running 'round going absolutely barking mad, assuming this that or the other.

You know, I coulda sworn we're always leading up to a potential attack from the enemy, given the situation and all. What I wanna know is what these "predictions" were all about in the first place!

I don't think everyone knows what exactly is too come.

So it's like, same as normal, just that one or two people got a "bad feeling"? Well, isn't that just brilliant? I mean, this is all normal, isn't it? Warzone? Two attacks previously? Chances of being attacked out of the blue lingering over our heads at all times? And that's even with all the weird.

Oi, this Warden wants us to mobilise and prepare for war? He oughta take this and use it, tell us there's an oncoming attack or a natural disaster coming every month or so! Seems to have gotten everyone moving.

I guess it is. You never know what's to come here, even if some people do get a "bad feeling." Things will be better if you just calm down. There's no sense in panicking when you don't know what is to come.

It is normal in a way. At least, when you travel worlds blindly it is. You never know what kind of mess you're going to find yourself in. At least here, we're somewhat safe. There are people here that can put up barriers if need be and people who can fight.

See, I don't mind travelling blind. 's what I did back where I'm from. Travelled with a man called the Doctor - oh, he was brilliant. Absolutely completely mental, but brilliant!

Done my fair share of running, I'll tell you that!

But yeah. No need for panic, but at least it's given us all a bit of a motivational buzz, right? Seems we got two extremes though - the people flipping out and going completely over the top, and then the people saying nothing's happening at all!

It's all nonsense. Nothing's coming. Nothing's happening. Not yet, at least.

Psychic premonitions are generally nonsense.

Yeah, that's what I thought. See, there's an opinion I actually value here, and it ain't some complete stranger with a feeling that might as well be a case of food poisoning!
