so far, it's been a blast... with the exception of minor changes with the japanese keyboard. @ sits where the [ normally sits(it does not require a shift press, which i still instinctively do), which means much retyping when logging in.... and the ' is a shift-7, with a : where it normally resides... hence the title of my post...

Ooo Capsule Hotel!

2 questions:

1. Does it feel claustrophobic?
2. Are they just for gents only?

the one i'm in has two capsules layered and are quite spacious. i can sit with my back on the wall and my head does not touch the roof...

they also have ladies capsules with the ladies hot baths and sauna on the same level.... i talked to two british backpacker girls who were staying here, last night.

Try asking for "kirushu sake"...a big liquor store near a supermarket should have it.

I'm jealous, when I had a stopover in Osaka they put me up in a regular boring hotel... well as boring as hotels can get in Japan anyway. The toilet still had more buttons than the TV remote.
