over the course of my travels to get to ireland i happened up on a chance encounter with doug stanhope performing one of his shows. his support for the night was hal sparks, of canadian "queer as folk" fame, who based most of his routine around the idea of going to see a good performance(comedy or music) was not as good as seeing a total disaster
