I really like "The Stress Of Her Regard". I've heard that Powers dislikes it, but I might be misremembering that as a dislike for other previous work.

I have a favourite type of film, it's generally honest in how it presents itself.

I fear the only series of movies I've watched with different directors is Harry Potter. I enjoyed the 3rd movie and the last one, and that is because of the maturity and growth of the films.

I have to admit, I haven't enjoyed the pirates of the carribean as much as I would if it wasn't so bloody Disney.

Who is directing this new lot? Is there hope?

Not a big Johhny Depp (jack sparrow) fan.

I was half way through "The Stress of her Regard" years ago when I lost the book. I've never been able to find it since.

I'm pretty sure I still have 'The Stress of Her Regard', however, it's in a box somewhere.
For sheer insane bravura, though, I demand a filmed version of 'The Anubis Gates'. The Evil Clown King of the Underworld, The Spoon-Size Men, Dog-Face Joe, Egyptian Magicians on spring-shoes, Beatles lyrics, Secret Societies and Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
