“Hyung… it’s nearly been two hours. What could possibly make him gone that long? He only went to that convenience store three minutes away from here!” Donghae began to worry. “What if he was kidnapped by fangirls?!”
“If you’re that worried why don’t you go search for him then.” Heechul said flippantly from his position slouched on the couch.
“Search for who?”
Kangin, who had just got home from long tiring day of schedule, plopped down beside Heechul with a contented sigh at finally being able to rest his aching muscles. Heechul scrunched up his nose and pushed him away with the sole of his foot.
“Youngwoon you reek! Where have you been and what have you been doing?!”
Kangin glared at him but let himself be pushed away. “I was filming outdoor! I had to hike a mountain for five freaking hours long! What do you expect?!”
“Well go take a shower or something, honestly.” Heechul averted his attention back at the TV ignoring Kangin’s scowl.
Donghae sighed. “I’ll go look for Leeteuk-hyung then.” He got up from the dining chair to get his coat. Kangin’s eyes widened.
“Leeteuk is missing?”
“He went to the convenience store and hadn’t back since two hours ago.” Heechul answered, still busy flipping at the channels.
Just then Donghae reappeared in the living room, coat on and ready to go when Kangin halted him. “I’ll go instead.” Donghae blinked at him.
“But-“
“It’s okay, you stay here.” He said with finality disappeared to the front door in seconds.
“But hyung just got home…” Donghae said worriedly.
“Let him be, Donghae.” Heechul said, finally gave up at his search for a good show to watch and wiggled his eyebrows suggestively at the younger. “Don’t ya think they need some time alone?”

Kangin exited the elevator and got out of the building, bowing a little to the security as an acknowledgement. He made his way to the store Leeteuk was supposed to be going, sighing a relief when he saw that it was quiet and fangirls-free. As he walked he could vaguely hear a dog barking and true enough, after a few meters away from the building, a small dog was barking at something up in the tree. Kangin was about to ignore it and mind his own business but when he got closer and closer, he could see what the dog was actually barking at. Or rather, who.
“…Leeteuk?”
The said man finally looked away from the dog and spotted Kangin standing not far away from him.
“Kangin-ah!!” He shouted while frantically flailing one of his arms. “Save me!!!”
Kangin would have laughed out loud if not for the fact that his hyung looked like he was going to burst into tears anytime soon. And that was when he remembered.
Leeteuk was afraid of dogs.
Kangin sighed and facepalmed lightly. Trust Leeteuk to make a trip to the convenience store three minutes away became a dangerous adventure.
He calmly walked to this still barking dog and stared down at it. The dog averted its attention to him. “Kangin, be careful!” Leeteuk hissed at him but it went ignored by the younger.
“Bad dog!” He gestured at the dog and it actually began whimpering. Leeteuk merely stared dumbfounded. Moments later the small dog scurried off, its tail wagging slightly as it ran away from Kangin.
Leeteuk looked down at him in disbelief. “Wow, Kangin. You speak animal?”
“Shut up! Hurry and get down, it’s freezing cold out here.”
Leeteuk nodded and made a move to get down but then he froze. He looked scared.
“Hyung?”
“Kangin, I don’t know how to get down.”
Kangin mentally slapped his own forehead.
“How the hell did you get up there?!”
“I don’t know!! I was in panic!”
Kangin looked thoughtful for a second.
“Jump.” He finally said.
“What?!”
“Just jump. I’ll catch you.”
The leader shook his head frantically. “No! Are you crazy?! I’m not jumping! It’s like two meters high!”
The younger looked up at him solemnly. “Hyung, do you not trust me?”
Leeteuk bit his lip, hesitating first but then softly said, “I trust Kangin…” His dongsaeng smiled gently at him and outstretched an arm towards him.
“Then what are you afraid of, Jungsu? I will never let you fall.”
Leeteuk nearly rolled his eyes at how cheesy their current situation was, but then again his life was at stake, and he couldn’t possibly live in that tree forever, so he just sent a silent prayer above and jumped as per Kangin’s instruction. The other nearly tumbled from the sudden addition of weight, but he’s not Super Junior’s strongest man for nothing. Kangin quickly regained his balance and finally Leeteuk was safe in his arms.
The younger grinned down proudly. “It’s not that hard is it?”
Leeteuk smacked Kangin’s face and then whined about how his legs are cramping having squatted down on that tree for hours in the cold night air.
“You’re just finding excuses because you love it when I carry you like this.” Leeteuk smacked him in the face again and Kangin chuckled. The taller then proceeded to bring Leeteuk back to their dorm.
“Kangin…”
“Hm?”
“…you stink.”
If it had been anyone else, Kangin would’ve dumped them right then and there, but it was Leeteuk, so Kangin settled with a, “shut up.”
“Kangin,”
“What.”
“You’re not going to tell the others about this, right?”
“What should I tell them then?”
Leeteuk shrugged lightly in his arms. “Tell them I sprained my ankle and fell to the drain and nearly died of hypothermia. Or something else.”
“Hmm… I don’t know hyung. It was pretty funny, it’d make a great story. Oh, and I’m sure the fans are going to like it.” Leeteuk looked horrified.
“Besides, you said I stink.”

OBVIOUSLY I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT DOGS. HA! so excuse my pathetic attempt at writing it. and this is, again, unbeta-ed.
I tried writing angst earlier but it came out weird and I was like, the fuck did I just write. so I’ll leave angst for other writers to write. not that I write other genres better…
