A somewhat friend and I were talking in my painting studio about band and orchestra. Yeah we don't do any work. You should hear our conversations like when did emo begin, can you be a pirate/ninja, and other useless things. Anywho...I started to miss playing the violin. Same for me. I was awful but I really enjoyed playing. I suppose it helped that I never tried. Especially in high school--damn, he was such an asshole. So eventually, I was like, 'screw it'. I'll only try for Mrs. Thomas. And when we had to play in competition. BAH! I hated that stuff.

But I miss playing too. I tried to look into a private teacher but they all want students--not adults. It makes me sad.

Yeah I guess if I actually practiced I would be a decent player. It sucks that private teachers only want students. There are older people out there who want to play. grr. Some colleges let teachers teach older students. Goshen college had that kind of thing because my mom went there to learn....*sigh*
