I thought you were going back to Japan this week. Holidays get extended?

Seeing as I've been living in Florida all year, I am completely unequipped for snow. Am I doomed? Should I write home for my ski gear?

Ya, I'm staying till the 14th so I can mingle with America-mun's before I head to Japan for stuff spend as much time with family and friends as possible.

... Yeah, I think I may have to write home for my ski gear. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to a Floridian winter!

Is it really that much colder than Australia?

Well, I just looked it up and statistically it's actually slightly warmer than winter back home, so now I feel stupid. But it cooled down a lot slower here, and I kind of jumped to the "Florida = warm" conclusion and didn't pack many winter clothes (at this point I didn't have any concrete plans for what I'd do after my Program). At the start of the year with that freak cold front, I had to write home for my coat and was wearing a work coat everywhere until it arrived.

I really hate the cold.
