Stop being an idiot when it comes to the business. Stop thinking you know everything and everyone else is stupid. I want a raise. I want more vacation time and sick time. I want that yearly bonus we get and the people in the office who are paid next to nothing should get it and the people who make a butt load don't need it.
It drives me up a wall that with the cost of living ever increasing (gas alone is killing me), we get peanuts as far as raises go - a measly 2% (.26/hr last year). I'm tired of people saying "it's better than nothing" ... well, not by much after taxes. And I'm trying to do the work of two positions.
*lol* You posted it and I just couldn't resist letting it all out.
Right?! According to cost of living I'm pretty poor but because of the consideration for salary I'm not. Which means I'm one of those that is constantly giving my money to the government and being broke.
And you shouldn't do the work of two positions. That is wrong. Unless they plan to pay you double.
Yeah, I'm spending more on gas than food. I have dental work that'll be $800+ out of pocket next month. I haven't saved anything in I don't know how long. I haven't been able to travel anywhere in ages either. I haven't been able to visit Gael in geez... a year and half or so?
*Dies laughing* Yeah, right. Getting paid double will never happen here. Even if I got the reclassification and "raise" it would only be about $1.40 more an hour before taxes and add to my workload. But, I'm the only one knows the ins and outs of the gift processing part. If I got hit by a bus, they'd be screwed.
