Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! (and weren't creeped out by the underaged-ness of it all - I was gonna put in something about Mikey going back to school and turning sixteen in September but then I forgot and posted and was like, 'crap, halfeatenmoon is gonna think I wrote him, like, twelve or something, hope I don't cause squick...')

And that line you gave in your prompt was SO PERFECT, OMG, I wrote this in like fifteen minutes. Because it'd totally go like that! Logic or emotional blackmail, so not the Ways' style. Scifi rhetoric, on the other hand... ♥

Not at all! When I wrote the prompt I did think it suited underage Ways rather than older ones, and underage doesn't bother me when it's just kissing anyway. (Though there is also something amusing about the idea of adult Ways getting rid of any guilt about incesty feelings by referring to Luke and Leia.) But yes, it's the best of Way logic. "Hmmm, I'm not sure whether what I want to do is normal or weird. Has it ever happened in sci fi or a comic book? That will tell me what to do!"
