It's backstage at Lollapalooza, and there are hundreds of people milling about. Bebe's getting used to the festival scene from this side of the stage, but it still overwhelms her. Smaller clubs are more her speed when it comes to the behind the scenes, even though she loves shouting her words out over a vast sea of bodies ( ... )

I love that Bebe gives as good as she gets, and that while it is new for her she can hold her own.

And that while Pete is so huge for them both, this moment is about only them.

Pete's hard to get away from - and they really don't either want to try, but it's still nice to have a space they can carve out that's only theirs.

Also, Bebe does not put up with shit. Pete learned that quick. Patrick had better too. Heee.

Being in league with Pete means you'd better be willing to give as good as you get and get as good as you give and have a thick skin. It also makes everything both easier and harder than it has to be.

I really like how this balances between sweet and funny and how Pete is there even though he's physically elsewhere.

Pete is always going to be there. I think that's something they're having to learn to live with and accept. I think Bebe's learning what it means and Patrick's learning that it's not always as bad as it seems during the rough spots. UGH. I kind of love them.
