It's really funny like this, because you told me that we left behind what you call TaD (remember when it was still TD?), we were gonna be free. We were gonna be able to say what we want and tell people how we felt. Now we're in this new place--it's still new to me; it's never going to be anything but new--and I just feel like I'm being censored

Layne got angry when the third(?) newb in a week broke the rules and posted an advertisement, and Layne posted an angry paragraph after the newb admitted that she hadn't read the rules. Some of the mods thought the paragraph went overboard and were talking about banning her for it.

I'm with you on this one. (Weird? XD) I know we need rules to protect newbies now, but we also need something to protect regs.

And, for Christ's sake, there has been an influx of people advertising. It wasn't unfounded! There's going too far, but there's also expressing an opinion. You're on the "opinion" side of this one, I think.

And it bears noting that the newb in question didn't even react. This should be a non-issue.
