Didn't say I wanted paying with money, did I? Money's not much good where I've come from in any case.

Reckon I could use a horse, though. Or a decent pair of wings.

That isn't much of a prize. Even in the house, drafted soldiers got their transport and whatnot paid for. You don't conscript 'em and then charge 'em for the elevator ride or the transfer plate. 'S'like paying us with our own coin.

I want something I can take back.
