Supernatural and Pushing Daisies, what more could a girl ask for? Snagged a whole bunch of the PD ones will totally credit. (even though I didnt before I have done so now and I saved each icon this time with your username in the filename)

Feedback: I love the colours and contrast in the PD icons however I do think at times its a little too dark and detail is lost when the features are so small, like the overhead shot of the car and the icon of Chuck in the snow. The font work on the PD icons are amazing.
However I think the font on your SPN icons are awkward. The bedtime looks too jarring and slightly off angle wise and the font on the icon 97 is really unbalanced and due to the size and colour shift its hard to work out the order in which to read it. Im probably just being picky after two years of typograhy at uni.

I really like the colour treatment on icon 99,104 and 115. They're stunning.

I am just relieved you liked it. I always get worried when leaving concrit because I dont know if I am going to offend and thats never my intention.

In truth I dont have so much of a problem with the Chuck/Snow one but was simply using it as an example for what I was trying to express. I certainly think you should keep experimenting with fluctuating foreground and background you're bound to find your happy median.

Actually more often than not preset fonts are better than downloaded font. We're actually forbidden to use downloaded font in typo and have to fall back on verified typefaces, I think in this case its more to do with the colours and the lean of the type. *shrugs* Im not quite certain.

Yeah, SPN is always hell for icon making. Its like old school Buffy where half the time you cant even see the fight scenes or if anyone is even on screen because its so damn dark.

I actually recently found a tut on LJ that is basically a font guide for icons and all the fonts in there were pretty much typical, preset fonts! So your class seems to be right. :)
