Sleepover & A New Job

Tonight we're having a sleepover. Alyssa & John. They are friends of the kids. John will be in Todd's kindergarten class this year and Alyssa is his sister. The four of them get along perfectly togrther. This will be the second time they have spent the night here

Congratulations on the new job. What does it mean to shadow someone? I've heard of this disease. Heart breaking.

Sorry, I guess I didn't explain shadowing...it's just when you go to school with her all day long. I'll be with her everywhere she goes. She has a trach so if she's ill or has allergies, I will have to suction it out and she needs a few other various medical things sometimes, but when she's healthy (as healthy as you can be when your body is almost 90 and you've already had a stroke) then she only needs help on & off the toilet (she doesn't have any problems in that area, no assistance needed other than getting on & off) Most days she can use her walker but on bad days she will use her wheelchair.
Like I said, I already know her from school, so I'm feeling really comfortable about the whole thing. I just need the district to call me to come down and sign this contract.

And how are you doing? Did Em leave for school yet? I was thinking about that.
Even when my kids are being rotten, I couldn't stand the thought ofd them not being here..... Big hugs to you & Wade. You're doing a marvelous job with her...in my humble opinion.
