My parents will be married 34 years this saturday, so next year will be 35 years. My sister, my aunt, and myself through a party for them on their 25th. Should there be a 35th wedding celebration?

Also, my sister is pregnant, so should I send something to my brother-in-law for a father-to-be for father's day?

I say instead of throwing another party, why don't you use the money instead and send them on a cruise! I went on the Boston to Bermuda...it leaves from Boston and I loved it. Not sure if they live in the area though.

Or atleast pay for 1/2 of it? hmmm. Just an idea! Parties can be EXPENSIVE!

My father does not like cruises. We thought of sending them on one for their 30th, but instead sent them to Cuddles N Bubbles.

My parents are very social and like to celebrate with people. I am well aware of them being expensive that's why I al thinking a year ahead.

Ah I see. Hmmmm.

By the way.. for a father's day gift for your brother-in-law... how about a baby book that is like a daddy and me theme so he can read it to him/her when they are born? That would be so cute! If you go to the book stores they should have things out on display for father's day.

On the 35th thing. I don't think so. I don't see the 35th being a big celebration for everybody. For them maybe though. I don't know that one is a hard one.

And on the Father's day thing. Yes! Father-to-be or Father. Is still a Father in my book. The same with Mother-to-be.

It's very hard.

Thanks, Ruthie. I am going to go to the store soon and buy him a father's day card.
