I'm addicted to alliteration! And I live by the Indian Ocean so it's difficult not to write about it every day... thank you. One of your friends (unabridgedone) friended me and now I'm reading all these beautiful words from some really talented people. Despite the reasons, I'm glad I came back to eljay. :D

I love the joined words in the first stanza. It adds a touch of playfulness to make the wistfulness even more potent than it already is.

This is an aurally pleasing peace, and it tugs at corners of hopeful loneliness we all have tucked inside.

I know it's a travesty to join words and sometimes I do it because I know I shouldn't... :o)... thank you, I'm glad you like it. I've gone from really dry to suddenly ridiculously prolific the last few weeks. And I'm riding it out and hopefully don't wipe out. I tried to convey a frustration here but I suppose the anxious/hopefulness shines through.
