Room 516, Saturday Afternoon

Raph was caught somewhere between sleep and being awake, Mikey tucked beside him on his bed. He hadn't gone out, hadn't wanted to leave Mikey alone, but he'd still stayed up most of the night and on into the morning, just wandering Fandom. At least he let Mikey get fresh air and exercise that way

Donnie hadn't been in the best of moods either lately, though he'd managed to distract himself in the common room the other night. Before Raph had left on his trip, they hadn't seen much of each other, but at least they hadn't been fighting. Here at Fandom they weren't forced into each other's company like they were at home, which, while annoying at times, usually meant they made up or talked it out at some point... Or Mikey would do something and relieve the tension, if nothing else.

He knew Raphael was not going to be the one to make concessions though, so it was up to him to go to Raph.

Donnie knocked on the door of his brother's room and waited.

Raph grumbled softly, eyes slitting open. He glanced at Mikey, found him tucked safely in his shell, then slumped off of his bed. As he opened the door, he began his usual cheerful greeting, "Yeah, wh-"

His lip curled, and he went from groggy to wide-awake in seconds. "What is it?"

Donatello grimaced slightly and fought the urge to fold his arms -- too defensive. Instead he sighed, looking down. "I wanted to come say hi to Mikey, since he's my brother too. Do you mind?"

Raph shrugged and stepped out of the way. "Be my guest." Raph wasn't at all concerned about seeming defensive. He folded his arms and stood there, just watching Donnie. "He's asleep on the bed."
