Hi Shana, I haven't talked to you in a really long time.. but if I could offer any advice, it would be to read the books He's Just Not That Into You and It's Called a Breakup Because It's Broken. If you haven't already. At first they might seem depressing, because they are pretty blunt, but then you will feel really empowered. I try to recommend them to everyone I know, and nobody wants to read them, because they would rather live believing the stupid excuses that men give us all the time. I was concerned when I read your entry because it sounded like you were doubting whether to move on, because he said something about going to lunch. If you read the book, you will have such a new outlook on these things. Trust me, you are going to be like 'I'm Shana and I'm beautiful and awesome and anyone who doesn't see that and appreciate me does not deserve me, or any more of my time/efforts/worrying/love.' and you will be so much happier. and, as always, if it's meant to be, it will come back together.
hey lizz, thanks for your advice i really appreciate it. i know that by reading just this it might seem like im really just sitting here waiting around for him to come back to me but im really not. i know that we're broken up and everything that comes along with that, and i've been having my fun just as much as he's having his, but the thing is that i dont want to lose him as a friend, you know? so that's where its hard. and the whole thing about going to lunch, its like this..i never thought we'd be able to be friends and the fact we can just makes me happy you know? because as long as we're friends at least i won't completely lose him since he's been my best friend for so long, you know?
i hope you dont think im too much of a pathetic loser haha. but thanks for your advice. even though we havent talked in forever it still meas more than you know to me.
I am going to be annoying now and say you should still read the books. I didn't read them for boy problems (because well I haven't had any boys to have problems with in a while) but they helped me a lot with friendship problems.
Um I have to go to class, crap. IM me if you want hehe Have a great day!!
