What I’m watching (TV):

The last few weeks I’ve been into watching the dreaded reality TV cycle. To be honest, I quite like them. I think it’s the ‘watching people and how they interact’ part that draws the anthropological side of me. Regardless, I’m watching Project Runway, Biggest Loser, and Survivor.

I don't watch reality shows, though I will admit to watching Rock of Love with Bret Michaels. That is such a trainwreck. My wife watches the Scott Baio thing so I pay attention every once in a while.

Lost is awesome. It's like tonic for creative constipation. Of shows that are actually showing these days, I'm enjoying the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Jericho comes back next week.

I want to watch both of the movies you mentioned, as well as Jumper when it comes out. It's not much time until the new Indy movie comes out....

I'm not reading that much. I have several sitting there in various stages of completion, including It by Stephen King, America Alone by Mark Steyn, and I'm thinking of reading Deathly Hallows for the 3rd (4th?) time. I'm also pondering trying the Shannara series.

You SHOULD be writing. Your stuff is so good. In fact, I know of two characters that are just waiting for you.

I have an episode of Sarah Connor on my Tivo waiting for me. Is it just me or did Summer get more mechanical in nature than she was in the pilot episode? For whatever reason I just can't get motivated to sit down and watch it.

I'm trying to figure out if I can take the girls to see Jumper. That would be fun for Rachel's birthday.

The first few books of Shannara were wonderful. Its probably been 20 some years since I first read them, but I feel in love with the original series. I didn't keep up with it because it got too unweilding and I missed the characters it started out with. You should read A Game of Thrones by George Martin.

She is more mechanical in nature now, and more lifelike and passable in the pilot, because she was in 'blend in' mode until she found him and Cromartie found them.

I have to figure out the order to read the Shannara series. I think I ran across a preferred order of reading somewhere, maybe on the Shannara book site itself.

What's A Game of Thrones??
