ok a question thats popped into my head, what does chrstmas mean to you? you know when you think of christmas, what comes into your head and what do you look forward to? that kind of thing!

To me not much. Its nice seeing family and all but this culture is too damn lazy to see them any other time of the year. To me its mass commercialism and the saviour of the economy. I'd like to think people still celebrate whatever significant religious values but it certainly doesn't seem that way. The major corporations certainly don't give a damn...

To be honest... its not that much of a comfort. I'd prefer for christmas to be realised as a cultural and social event rather than the decaying remnants of a religious festival
