I'm getting a new computer. I'm not entirely sure what to get. Any suggestions?

I don't need or find neccessary to get s high tech top of the line gaming system or anything. But I would like it to be relatively pretty.

Maybe I should give up and get a Mac???

MACINTOSH!!

Preferably a G5, but only if you have room for a desk top. Otherwise, go straight for the G4 (iBooks are prettier than Powerbooks) but wait until Tiger comes out - it's an incredible operating system.

If you're going in that direction, do yourself a favor and get a Linux. If not, then get an HP. If you get a Dell, I shall murder you. Get a laptop, because life will be wonderful for you if you get a laptop.

I hate laptops. Sorry my dear.

And I currently have a Dell, and it hasn't done badly for me at all. I've never blue screened it, which is amazing, and their customer service is pretty good. I'm actually leaning toward getting another one, just because I had such success with this one.
