Has anyone noticed in the last few weeks since the Russian took over LJ that there are malware adds on the site. I log in go to my friends page and BAM my browser resizes and it takes me 5 minutes to get back to my friends page. I try and close out it doesn't work. The ads on the side panels aren't relevant or REAL for that matter. This site is ( Read more... )

Weird. I haven't had that problem. Are you using Firefox? If not, you need to download it. It pwns any other browser out there.

And you better not leave Livejournal. You're one of the only people who's entries I actually read/comment on, and you sometimes comment on mine. hehe

I hadn't noticed any ads really, but I have a free account. When did this new ownership take place? I feel like something big happened but I wasn't aware of it.

I get nothing of that happening to me, but I use Firefox, which does, indeed, pwn any other browser.

I have been with LJ for (not this account, my other account) about.. off the top of my head I guess over 4 years really. I have noticed a LOT of changes. But none as drastic as what greatest Journal did. They dove headfirst into the pit of nothing.

I am over at Insane Journal a lot and I love it there. I update there more than here. This is my "secret" account so I can speak more liberally here. The one reason I keep coming back to LJ is the groups. I find groups of people I can't find elsewhere.

If you do leave, I recomend Insane Journal. 100 free icons to start, and the owner guy is fabulous about keeping you up to date if something is going on. Seriously.
