So I like Children's books...

A lot of Children's books are pretty "Meh." And a LOT of YA books can be utter pieces of CRAP. (IE: Twilight.)

But some are just undeniably awesome (IE: Harry Potter) and classic, and fun. Unfortunately because of Twilight, and the uptick of Gossip Girls style books (I read a lot of the series as my "guilty pleasure" but it was undeniably "bad" in

The Giver is still one of my favorite books. Night is still pretty moving. And I loved Johnny Tremaine I was growing up. Geek. Oh well, at least I'm not losing brain cells on Twilight... ;)

I actually never read The Giver. I've seen it countless times, but never actually sat down and read it. I did read Number the Stars though.
